Ormewood Park is located just south of I-20, between Moreland Avenue (eastern boundary), East Confederate Avenue (southern boundary) and the train tracks that run from the Glenwood Connector down to East Confederate Avenue (western boundary). There's lots of development taking place in Ormewood Park - side lots are being filled with new Craftsman style homes, the 25+ acre Glenwood Park developoment is well underway, and there are many signs of coming developments on Moreland Avenue. The boundaries of this neighborhood were established by the City of Atlanta in the 1970s. Ormewood Park is one of the neighborhoods that form South Atlantans for Neighborhood Development - an association of neighborhoods that includes Woodland Hills, Boulevard Heights, Benteen Park and McDonough Guice.

Neighborhood Description:
Woodland Hills is located between East Confederate Avenue (northern boundary), Custer Avenue (southern boundary) Moreland Avenue (eastern boundary) and Woodland Avenue (western boundary). Woodland Hills is experiencing growth through infill development with a number of new homes being built on previously vacant lots, unused parking lots, or previously unused tracts of land on the north side of Custer Avenue. A large state complex is located just west of Woodland Hills where various state departments have offices and operation centers. Neighborhood Description:
Cabbagetown developed around the Fulton Cotton and Bag Mill. It has strong Appalachian heritage. During the 80's and 90's Cabbagetown became home to many artists and musicians. During the 90's Cabbagetown, along with the rest of in-town Atlanta, experienced a re-newed interest in in-town living and restoration of the older homes.
